For the December 2008 issue of Surfer Magazine, our illustrious photographer Art Brewer shot thirteen of “The Most Influential Surfers of the Year”. The fold-out cover includes reknowned surfers such as Kelly Slater, Andy Irons, and Carissa Moore (just to name a few).

Art was given the honor of shooting these talented athletes and praised by Surfer in their article on the issue:

“… that journey doesn’t happen without help, much of which comes from longstanding contributors who have been a part of this magazine’s history for decades. Like Art Brewer. We don’t have to tell you who Art Brewer is. He’s a man of mythic proportion, who’s been routinely cranking out some of the best surf and lifestyle photos for over four decades now.
