ALBERTO TOLOT just completed several portraits of Dame Elizabeth Taylor for Harper’s Bazaar. He also shot the cover art and publicity stills for Barbra Streisand’s latest album, Guilty Pleasures. Recent editorial work he’s done also appears in New York Moves, InStyle and L.A. Times Magazine. Alberto and his wife Francesca continue progress on their long-anticipated book of beauty photographs. His fine art photography is on display at The Photographers’ Gallery in Los Angeles.
ANDREW HALL, one of our newest photographers, moved with his family from London to the U.S. in 2005. He’s spent his recent time utfitting his new studio in Los Angeles, discovering the wonders of Japanese food and impressing many agency creatives with his stunning images. He’s begun an assignment for Team One for the Lexus IS.
ART BREWER has been in high demand recently. He’s been working with TPN/Gatorade on their ads featuring Mia Hamm, Derek Jeter and Peyton Manning. He has also been in London working with Tracy Locke International shooting the Pepsi World Challenge soccer competition for future marketing use. Pepsi recently released their new website for 2006 spring/summer advertising throughout Europe, Asia and South America (www.mydadada.com), which features Art’s action photography prominently.
ART BREWER is also responsible for the latest Wells Fargo Bank “Climb Aboard” transit and billboard art. His editorial work includes the May cover of Muscle & Fitness, and shots in PDN magazine & ASMP’s Bulletin. Art even found time for a week of diving and photography on the remote Pacific island of Yap, which will be featured in Continental Airlines Inflight magazine. Plus he’s working on a book, a related documentary film and will be giving a talk to the San Diego APA chapter this June.
BRYAN TREBELCOCK has been working with the Richards Group on a campaign for Hyundai. For Hamon & Assoc. he’s photographed brochures spotlighting the Hyundai Entourage and Santa Fe models. Bryan was also Keynote Speaker at a recent seminar sponsored by the Los Angeles Digital Imaging Group, where he presented his evaluation of the digital applications currently available.
CHRISTOPHER THOMAS has also been busy on the fine art front recently. His six year study (utilizing classic b&w plate photos) of the neighborhoods and buildings of historic Munich had its premiere exhibit there at the Schirmer/Mosel Gallery. His beautiful imagery was published with a collection of essays about the city under the title Munich Elegies. With those projects completed, Christopher has kept busy producing extensive print work for the BMW Z4 and Audi A4 convertible, as well as for a top-secret new BMW product that he shot in New Zealand. He is also photographing celebrities, starting with Boris Becker, for a regular assignment in Suddeutsche Zeitung magazine.
JEREMY SAMUELSON is shooting the fall catalog for CB2 – Crate & Barrel’s new stores featuring modern furnishings and smart design. He has also been tapped to photograph the Cloister at Sea Island, a classic 1920s resort that’s recently undergone a $350 million refurbishment. This assignment comes on the heels of Jeremy’s cover photographs for the April & May 2006 issues of Cottage Living. Jeremy and his family are enjoying their sabbatical in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where Jeremy is working on a series of pinhole photographs of the local chedi (temples).
JOHN ROMERO will be photographing the Nissan Pathfinder and Armada SUVs for TRUE Agency. John is also involved in several community-based projects in Phoenix, contributing his time and skills to produce a DVD of the upcoming Phoenix Film Festival, and contributing two pieces from his “Box” project to the Phoenix Art Museum Contemporary Forum.
ROB FIOCCA has been immersed in shooting the latest Wal-Mart National campaign featuring 11 different multi-use ads with GSD&M. This project has utilized numerous locations and a wide range of products stretching from fashion to furniture. In addition, Rob recently photographed three articles about the new Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas for Ocean Drive Magazine.
