Biography

Julia is a Vienna based illustrator, hand lettering artist and designer with focus on food and lifestyle themes for international advertising, packaging and editorial clients.
From her many years as a designer and art director for food and other brands, she knows how to create visual worlds and coherent concepts that attract their audiences. With bold illustrations, playful lettering and vibrant colors she brings brands, packaging, ads and editorial pages to life.
With her interest in people’s personalities and her enthusiasm for music and entertainment, she also contributes caricatures, stylized portraits or lettering titles for magazines.
 
Julia’s work has been recognized by Communication Arts, American Illustration, 3×3 Magazine, Lürzers Archive and Creative Quarterly. She has worked with a wide variety of clients like The Kennedy Center, Rolling Stone Germany, Jumbo Supermarket or The Austrian Academy of Sciences. 
 
Julia is a proud mum of two kids, two cats and a horse. Together with her husband she manages business and family life in the lovely suburbs of Vienna, Austria.
